Location: Fife
Salary: NEG per annum plus market-leading package
Are you an ambitious and driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a passion for the construction industry, specifically within the residential sector? My esteemed client, a well-established construction Main Contractor, is seeking a proactive and talented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in managing residential contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Quantity Surveying team in efficiently managing residential contracts, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Utilise your strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills to engage with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering positive relationships.
- Apply your analytical approach to assess project costs, manage budgets, and provide accurate forecasts for financial planning and decision-making.
- Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to set realistic objectives and address key problems, contributing to successful project outcomes.
- Manage subcontractors effectively, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and driving cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:- Previous experience in Graduate/Assistant/Trainee Quantity Surveying within the construction industry, particularly in the residential sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills, essential for successful stakeholder engagement and contract management.
- Analytical mindset, proficient in budget management, cost assessment, and financial forecasting.
- Ability to set realistic objectives and solve problems, demonstrating a proactive and practical approach to project management.
- Prior experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.
