- Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Residential Contracts)
Location: Fife, Scotland
Salary: £NEG per annum (plus market-leading package)
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in the construction industry? Are you passionate about residential contracts and possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills? My esteemed client, a leading National Contractor, is seeking a dynamic and proficient Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage quantity surveying activities for residential contracts, ensuring accurate cost estimation, budget management, and financial control throughout project lifecycles.
- Utilise your analytical skills to assess contract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and opportunities to enhance project profitability and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee subcontractors, negotiating agreements, managing performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to set realistic project objectives and timelines, fostering effective communication and a cohesive working environment.
- Actively engage in sales activities, presenting financial proposals, discussing contract terms, and providing expert guidance to potential clients, contributing to business growth and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:- Demonstrable quantity surveying experience within the construction industry, specifically in the residential sector, showcasing your ability to manage budgets, contracts, and sub-contractors effectively.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills, enabling you to articulate complex ideas clearly, build relationships, and drive successful project outcomes.
- An analytical approach, coupled with problem-solving skills, allowing you to make informed decisions and devise efficient solutions to project challenges.
- Experience in budgetary management, ensuring projects remain within financial parameters while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Proven ability to set achievable objectives and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
