Responsibilities: As a Site Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Conducting site surveys and assessments to gather necessary data for project planning and implementation.
Monitoring and managing construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
Providing technical support and guidance to the project team, resolving engineering-related challenges.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
Reviewing and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
Conducting regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure project progress and compliance.
Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and cost estimates.
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.
Contributing to the resolution of technical issues and providing innovative solutions.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Degree educated in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience as a Site Engineer or similar role within the civils/construction industry.
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
