Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Contract: Permanent preferred; contract opportunities also considered
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are looking for an experienced Gas Safe Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team, working across the Highlands with the majority of work based in and around Inverness.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served engineer looking for a long-term, permanent position with a well-established company. We are also happy to consider experienced engineers looking for contract work.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of domestic and commercial plumbing and heating works, including:
General domestic and commercial plumbing
Boiler servicing, maintenance and repairs
Boiler fault finding and diagnostics
Installation and replacement of heating systems
Installation and repair of plumbing and heating components
Gas appliance installation and servicing, where appropriately qualified
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Working professionally with customers and other contractors
The successful candidate will:
Be time served with solid plumbing and heating experience
Hold a valid Gas Safe registration/licence with relevant domestic qualifications
Have proven experience servicing and repairing boilers
Have experience installing and maintaining heating systems
Be confident carrying out general plumbing work
Be able to work independently and use initiative
Have a professional and customer-focused approach
Hold a full UK driving licence
Be willing to travel throughout the Highlands as required
Commercial plumbing/heating experience would be advantageous, although not essential.
