- Description
- We are currently working with a growing broadband provider who are expanding their installation teams across various locations in the Highlands as they continue to roll out fibre to rural communities.
This is a great opportunity for someone hands-on, customer-focused, and looking to build a career in fibre - full training can be provided.
The Role:
You'll be working on the front line, installing fibre connections directly into customers' homes and helping bring high-speed broadband to rural areas. Working to a scheduled diary, you'll play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
·Installing Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) connections
·Pulling/blowing fibre cables from cabinets or chambers to properties
·Carrying out light excavation works in customer gardens
·Clearing blockages through soft dig methods
·Working on overhead networks where required
·Completing internal installations and setting up equipment (CPE)
·Testing connections and ensuring everything is fully operational
·Talking customers through the service and answering any questions
·Maintaining a high standard of customer service on every job
What we're looking for:
·Good communication and customer service skills
·Comfortable with manual work and working outdoors
·Willingness to work at height when required
·Full UK driving licence (essential)
·Positive attitude and willingness to learn (training provided)
