- We are working with a well-established and highly regarded construction company based in Inverness, who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their growing team.

The Role
As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in the pre-construction process, preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a variety of construction projects. Working closely with senior management, project teams, and supply chain partners, you'll ensure that all estimates are well-prepared, commercially sound, and aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
·Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for projects of varying size and scope
·Analyse drawings, specifications, and technical documents to produce accurate take-offs
·Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and ensure competitive quotations
·Attend tender review and client meetings where required
·Maintain and update estimating data and cost libraries
·Support commercial and operational teams post-tender as needed
Essential Requirements:
·Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
·Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
·Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
·Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
·Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
·Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
