A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established and respected M&E contractor in Glasgow.
This is a permanent, full-time role overseeing the delivery of electrical packages across commercial construction projects. You'll be the key link between site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders managing people, safety, logistics, and quality on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the key liaison between Main contractor & specialist subcontractors
• Oversee day-to-day and weekly activities for site teams, ensuring smooth coordination and project delivery
• Implement and maintain Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), daily risk assessments, and permit to work procedures
• Lead weekly toolbox talks
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations, maintaining quality control and compliance with contract requirements
Skills & Attributes:
• Experience on commercial electrical sites
• Strong understanding of electrical systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Highly organised, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work collaboratively with main contractors and internal teams
Experience & Qualifications:
• Demonstrable experience in a supervisory or foreman role within electrical contracting
• Relevant electrical qualifications - e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition
• ECS/CSCS card required
• SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
