- My client, a respected and growing civil engineering company based in the Highlands, is seeking a Lead Site Engineer to oversee and deliver high-quality site operations across major projects. This role offers the chance to lead from the front, ensuring technical accuracy, operational efficiency, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead day-to-day site engineering activities, ensuring all work is delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.
·Supervise and mentor junior engineers, setting clear objectives and supporting their development.
·Conduct site surveys, set out works, and ensure technical drawings are followed precisely.
·Liaise closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
·Oversee quality control, safety standards, and compliance with relevant legislation.
·Resolve technical issues on site and implement effective solutions.
About You:
·Proven experience as a Site Engineer with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
·Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and site operations.
·Excellent communication and organisational skills.
·Proficient in setting out and using relevant surveying equipment.
·Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related discipline.
