- Here at C&P recruitment we are looking for an Engineering Manager to work for a highly regarded client of ours in Glasgow.
You will be working for a multi-disciplined company and highly experienced construction firm that offers competitive costs to domestic properties for all roofing, render, insulation and renewable technology works.
Our clients energy arm was established to provide their customers with expert advice and construction solutions on customers most valuable assets, customer homes. Over the years, our clients team has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working in the public sector.
Due to the high demand for solar energy in the UK our client is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee and manage all engineering operations throughout the organisation relating to service delivery.
The Role
The applicant will be expected to provide engineering support to company engineering staff both remotely and on site as needed. Having engineering-based management systems implemented, maintained, and upheld proves beneficial as well as being a member of the Engineering Council.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining company wide engineering protocols and management systems in relation to the company's services.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining engineer training and equipment calibration records.
Essential Skills and Experience
Must hold a recognised engineering qualification that is degree equivalent
Must have a valid driving license
Must have minimum 5 years' experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Must have been employed in the same or similar role for the last 3 years
Desirable Skills and Experience
Have direct experience in Statutory Inspections
Have experience in the construction sector generally
Have experience in the implementation and upkeep of Engineering Management Systems such as UKAS 17020
