Job Description: I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civils Project Manager to lead our dynamic team in the Highlands of Scotland. In this role, you will oversee the successful execution of Civils Projects, ensuring adherence to Project objectives, timelines, and budgets. Your strong Project Management expertise, coupled with your knowledge of water and utilities systems, will be instrumental in delivering Projects of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage Civils Projects from inception to completion in the Highlands of Scotland.
·Develop comprehensive Project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
·Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, to ensure smooth Project execution.
·Monitor Project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
·Manage Project budgets, including cost control, financial reporting, and change management.
·Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the Project lifecycle.
·Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess Project progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
·Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance Project delivery efficiency.
·Provide leadership and mentorship to Project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Requirements:
·Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
·Extensive experience in Project Management, particularly within the Civil Engineering sector.
·Strong knowledge of Scottish construction regulations and practices, including NEC and JCT contracts.
·Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering complex Projects on time and within budget.
·Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
·Familiarity with water and utilities systems, including pipelines, treatment plants, and distribution networks would be advantageous.
·Proficiency in Project Management software and tools.
·Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
