- Description
- We are currently looking for a Mechanical Estimator on behalf of our client an Industry Leader and expanding M&E contractor in Edinburgh.
Due to planned development they are now looking to add an Estimator to their team.
Through their reputation and years of experience they have gained contracts and created relationships with leading companies which in turn creates a a large amount of repeat business, with the majority within commercial ranging up to £5 million.
Duties will include- Analyse drawings, specifications & BOQ's.
- Understanding different contracts and tendering methods for each
- Assemble accurate well organised Estimates in a timely manner
- Where required attend site surveys to review existing installations
- Work on multiple bids at one time and to deadlines
- Undertake and record clear detailed take off/measures
Experience- Prior Experience estimating projects up to £5 million.
- Demonstrable experience within the construction industry
- Computer literate with experience of Estimation software
- High level of attention to detail
