- Description
- We are currently looking for an Estimating Manager for our client based in the surrounding Edinburgh region who works within steel & aluminium design, fabrication and installation
This company are extremely busy and have performed well over the last year and due to planned growth they are looking to add an estimating manager to the team.
Ideally you will have managerial experience but they will also look at experienced estimators looking to take the next step.
Details/Duties:
·Interpret and convert customer opportunities into winning proposals
·Produce estimates and quotes for the full content of work.
·Must have good technical understanding but also sales and commercial capability
·Primary point of contact for all tenders, review proposals, terms of business to ensure maximum value opportunity.
Person Specification:
·Excellent technical capability and knowledge, ability to read and interpret drawings
·Demonstrable experience within steel or aluminium estimating
·Strong commercial skills
·Excellent interpersonal skills,
