- Description
- Leading construction and renovation company seeking an experienced health and safety consultant to join their team as part of a planned business expansion.
Duties will include:
- Working on multiple construction sites, advising on health and safety matters
- Ensuring that sites are run within current health and safety legislation and best practice
- Identify things that could be done better and offer a range of solutions, options and recommendations to ensure they remain compliant
- Recording all accidents and near misses and be consistently looking at trends and patterns.
- Work closely with both internal and external staff across multiple multi-tenanted facilities to ensure planned preventative maintenance is completed on time
- Work to increase Environmental, Health and Safety awareness and compliance through constant and consistent communication and support
- Instil and promote positive Environmental, Health and Safety behaviours and attitudes
- Liaise with senior management and project teams in relation to new and upcoming contracts, providing guidance and key requirements
- Monitoring Health and Safety performance, inspections and audits
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience of working on Construction sites
- IOSH and first aid qualifications
- NEBOSH is also desirable
