- Description
- My client is a leading geotechnical contractor specialising in ground investigation and stabilisation. As part of a planned business expansion they are seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist to join their Operations team.
The Role
The successful candidate can look forward to working on a variety of exciting projects and will be involved with managing of operational sites, field work, data collection and analysis and report writing. There is also the opportunity for further training and the chance to progress toward chartered status.
The ideal Candidate will have the following attributes:
- Degree qualified in geology or civil engineering
- A minimum of 3 years experience working within the Ground Investigation market
- Good commercial awareness
- Attention to detail and safety conscious
- Ability to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
- Comfortable working as part of a team and alone under own initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain good relations with clients and subcontractors as well as members of your own team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
Salary is dependent on experience, with opportunity to progress within the business.
