- Are you an experienced civil engineering professional looking to spearhead critical utility infrastructure projects? We
are seeking a talented and driven Site Agent (Water) to lead the day-to-day delivery of our major clean water and
wastewater frameworks across the region.
Operating as the primary leader on the ground, you will oversee site operations, drive commercial productivity,
manage subcontractors, and ensure that all engineering assets-from pipelines to treatment works-are delivered
safely, on schedule, and fully compliant with environmental regulations.
• Site Leadership: Direct day-to-day on-site delivery, coordinating site engineers, direct labour, plant machinery,
and sub-contractors.
• HSEQ Excellence: Author, review, and implement robust Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Enforce zero-harm safety standards and strict environmental compliance to protect local water networks.
• Commercial Management: Monitor project costs, track daily progress vs. program milestones, and accurately
manage contract variations or early warnings under NEC3/NEC4 frameworks.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all technical engineering drawings are strictly adhered to, coordinating testing,
chlorination, and final sign-offs with regional water authorities.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact on-site for client representatives, local authorities,
landowners, and the community
What We Are Looking For
• Experience: Proven track record as a Sub Agent or Site Agent within water infrastructure, deep drainage, or heavy
civil engineering environments.
• Qualifications: HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent construction leadership experience).
• Industry Certifications: Valid SMSTS and a Black or Gold CSCS Card are mandatory.
• Sector Safety: Valid EUSR Water Hygiene Card. Knowledge of DOMS or regional water authority specifications is
highly advantageous.
• Contract Knowledge: Working familiarity with NEC contract management and site progress forecasting.
• Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.
