The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of projects, supporting delivery teams, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently while achieving value for money.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with budget preparation, cost planning, and estimating activities
• Managing project costs, valuations, final accounts, and payment processes
• Identifying, analysing, and managing commercial risks
• Supporting value engineering and cost control initiatives
• Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and quotations
• Providing support with contractual matters, claims, and variations
• Producing detailed progress reports and maintaining accurate commercial records
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, management systems, and industry standards
The ideal candidate will have:

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
Desirable experience:
• Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Experience working with civil engineering contracts and commercial systems
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join a respected contractor where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, develop your skills, and progress your career within a supportive and professional environment.
