- Job Title: Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist Residential
Location: Glasgow
I am looking for an experienced Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join one of the clients I am working with. The suitable candiadte will have a strong background in large-scale residential delivery. This role is suited to candidates with proven experience working on developer-led and affordable housing schemes, rather than domestic or one-off residential projects.
You will play a key role in the technical design and delivery of multi-unit residential developments, working collaboratively with clients, contractors, and consultant teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and commercially viable schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and contribute to the technical delivery of large-scale residential projects
- Develop detailed design packages and construction information
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, Planning Policy, and housing standards
- Prepare specifications, schedules, and scope of works documentation
- Manage project workloads and deliver to agreed deadlines
Key Requirements- Minimum 5+ years' UK experience in architectural project delivery
- Strong experience in developer-led and/or affordable housing schemes
- Proven track record working on multi-unit residential developments
- Strong technical and detailing ability across RIBA stages
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Good understanding of UK housing standards, planning policy, and building regulations
- Excellent coordination, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with a proactive, delivery-focused approach
- Eligibility to work in the UK
