- Quantity Surveyor
My client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on a full time Contract basis. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Civil Engineering Projects and live within the Central Belt of Scotland.
Duties
- working with senior commercial staff
- collecting information from clients to create and process orders (including location, materials, access, power supply, health & safety considerations, working areas and more)
- material take offs from construction drawings
- costing client requirements
- confirming orders with clients
- allocating works to site crews
- confirming working arrangements with clients and work crews
- managing works on site and liaising with clients and work crews
- on site measurement and valuation
- confirming completion of works
- applications for payments
- signing off completed works
