- C&P recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established, award winning estate agency and property management company.
Our client is looking for a driven and eager lettings assistant to join their exciting property team, based in the Edinburgh office.
The Role
This role will be supporting the team of property managers and Lettings Directors, providing both professional and efficient administrative support.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of general administration duties, ideally in a property setting
- Experience of dealing directly with clients' enquiries by telephone
- Experience of using Microsoft Office
- Employment background or knowledge within the Lettings industry would be an advantage
- Experience of using SME management software would be preferred
Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills, by telephone and in writing
- The ability to prioritise effectively and to meet regular deadlines
- A confident and professional approach in your interactions with clients and contractors
- Proficient IT skills to allow you to use a variety of property management systems (training
will be provided)
- The ability to take responsibility for providing a quality service to clients
- Resourcefulness and a can do' working style
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
-Liaise with Property Managers and prospective tenants to arrange property viewings
-Deal with all incoming enquiries by email and telephone
-Assist with creating new tenancies and ending tenancies
-Arrange new tenant meetings with Property Manager to sign lease/welcome pack
- Assist Property Managers with property inspection bookings
-Close off all completed maintenance reports to ensure the system is up to date
-General administration duties
