- Description
- Core objectives: To maintain, service & repair plant (including promptly & efficiently on customer sites. Ensure plant meets correct quality safety & performance standard. To maintain & repair specialist plant e.g. Manitou / JCS Telehandlers / Roto's & repair general fleet in depot when not working on specialist fleet. To exercise due care & diligence in the performance of all duties. Be a positive role model for other fitters. Lead by example in all matters of quality, service & behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
• Report for duty at the agreed time & at the agreed location & work extra hours on reasonable notice as required.
• To exercise due care & diligence in the performance of all duties. Be a positive role model for other fitters. Lead by example in all matters of quality, service & behaviour.
• Effectively service & repair the full range of company plant as required either in the workshop or on customers sites. Be included within the out of hour's rota
• Inform Field Service Coordinator/manager prior to commencing lunch breaks & prior to termination of shift. Liaise with Field Service Coordinator for schedules, order numbers, etc. or where exchanges are required
• Obtain Instruction/Information from Field Service Coordinator & enter details on Job sheet
• Ensure skills & knowledge keep up with new plant & technology changes.
• Ensure all work is complete before signing off job sheet & seeking supervisor I
customer sign off.
