Description
Our client is looking for a Operations Manager located within Aberdeen with some travel required for business needs. Experience working as a successful Operational Manager (at least 5 years) is required who holds a SMSTS certificate.


The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices.
  • Prepare budgets and inventories
  • Directly manage the Regional Team
  • Coach and develop the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required. 
  • To liaise fully with clients to ensure that the delivery of service operations to agreed SLA’s and quality targets. 
  • Responsible for operational performance and successful delivery of contracts. 
  • Creating a safe and effective working environment 
  • Delivering profitability through operational outputs 
  • Manpower planning and resources allocation. 
  • Achieving quality standards on all products. 
  • Promoting all aspects of our business through professional execution of existing contract works 
  • Maintaining and motivating a highly skilled dedicated operational team. 
  • Integration of field activity with office based planning and administration teams 
  • Ownership and management of all health and safety policies within the field based activity 
  • Ensuring client satisfaction including exceeding client expectations 
  • Recruitment and selection of operational vacancies within the region 
  • Introduction of improved operational systems and It based solutions to enhance output and improve timescales 
  • Review customer reviews and customer related statistics 
  • Prepare, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation 
  • Adhering to established measures and KPI’s on agreed Service Level Agreements with key clients.
