- Job Title: Home Investment Co-ordinator
Overall Purpose
To assist and support the Heads of Service with the efficient and effective delivery of general management, performance and financial accountability for Planned Works services to the Tenants ensuring customer satisfaction and value for money.
To be responsible to the Heads of Service for the efficient and effective management including safe service delivery and supervision of staff ensuring they have a clear focus on quality; customer focus and are motivated to achieve challenging objectives.
Principal Accountabilities
- To assist the Head of Asset Planning and Development and Head of Property Services to ensure compliance with all statutory and other relevant legislative requirements while ensuring at all times SBHA staff and activates are undertaken in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.
- To provide management compliance with CDM for all works and that risk assessments and method statements are in place for all work that provides robust safe systems of work. All planned and responsive work programme are managed in accordance with SBHA procedure for the management of Asbestos, Legionella, Electrical testing and Gas safety at all time and any and all risks are reported to your line manager.
- Coordinating the day to day functions of the team, ensuring resources are deployed and managed effectively, and that all service areas are appropriately planned and covered; working with other Co-ordinators throughout Assets and Investment to ensure effective management of workflow and cover.
- Liaise with and coordinate effective communications between Assets and Investments and all other relevant Sections and Departments in SBHA including external stakeholders to successfully discharge your duties.
- Delegate or cover other areas within Assets and Investment as business needs require.
- Collate information received from the Supervisors, Planning Assistants, Officers and Store-persons regarding all works, monitor and record progress and co-ordinate the efficient communication of information to relevant personnel.
- Provide professional advice, support and deputising for the Heads of Service where appropriate and providing cover in the absence of other Assets and Investment Co-ordinators;
You will be required on occasions to work outwith and in excess of normal working hours. For SBHA grades 1 – 4, no additional payment will be made in this regard. For SBHA grades 3 and 4, compensation will be made in the form of time off in lieu.
You will be required to travel within Scottish Borders area and occasionally outwith.
