- My client is a Partitioning firm looking for a contracts manager to join their new office
In this role you will report directly to the regional manager and be responsible for the procurement and delivery of projects
Duties
- Manage the day to day performance of projects within the Contracts Department
- Attend site meetings, carry out risk asseesments and regular toolbox talks on site with subcontract labour
- Ensure that site needs are met in terms of on-site labour and the provision of adequate materials
- Order materials and organise Labour with the relevant supplier ensuring the most cost effective rate possible is negotiated
- Ensure that all costs are logged and monitored and accurate records maintained
- Cost and quote any variation works required on projects and submit costs to the client in a timely manner
- Liaise with both the client’s and internal Quantity Surveyor on contractual and financial matters
