- Description
- I am currently looking for a Property Services Buyer to join a successful Procurement team based in Stirling. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Scotland’s Leading Construction Companies with a turnover in excess of over £200 million a year
Duties will include
- Price negotiation
- Placing orders for materials, working to an agreed time scale
- Providing primary purchasing support for our various projects, including the daily procurement of all building materials and site sundry items
- Requesting and comparing supplier quotes
- Issuing Site Managers with material information, acting as a main point of contact within the office to deal with their queries
- Finding and developing new supplier accounts, whilst maintaining good relationships with our existing suppliers
- When needed Assisting with plant hire requirements
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Excellent construction general building product knowledge
- A skilled negotiator
- Excellent communicator
- Great team ethic
- A flexible approach to work
- Construction Industry Knowledge
- Good IT Skills
Salary negotiable D.O.E
