- Leading Fabrication Company seeking a sales engineering to join their team. The successful applicant will gain an in depth knowledge of steel design and regulations and provide tailored solutions to a wide range of customers.
This client facing role is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual from either a design or engineering background to join an established company. Working under the department supervisor you will be responsible for the design and sale of bespoke steel fabrications to high profile clients.
Duties:
Designing of steel fabrications
Visualising designs and translating them into working drawings using engineering and CAD skills.
Taking enquiries and meeting with clients to establish their needs
Costing jobs and quoting fees
Applicants should have the following qualities:
Come from a background in either engineering or steel fabrication
Experience using CAD or Technical Drawing
Competent in Microsoft office
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain concepts to laypeople
Good time management skills
Ability to visualise requirements/interpret and create solution
