- Description
- My client is a leading interior design company based in the Central Belt of Scotland. As part of a planned business expansion my client are looking for an experienced upholsterer to join their soft furnishings team. The successful candidate will work for high end clients on a variety of projects ranging from soft furnishings to bespoke pieces.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- upholstery
- measuring, cutting, sewing
- knowledge of traditional upholstery techniques (e.g. deep buttoning)
- ability to working with a variety of materials, fabrics and finishing
- high personal standards and quality craftsmanship
- good eye for detail
-Time appreciation and the ability to estimate how long a job will take
- working to deadlines
