- Description
- My client is a main contractor specialising in the Commercial Fit Out & Refurbishment sector. As a result of increased market presence, they are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Duties
- working with senior commercial staff
- collecting information from clients to create and process orders (including location, materials, access, power supply, health & safety considerations, working areas and more)
- material take offs from construction drawings
- costing client requirements
- confirming orders with clients
- allocating works to site crews
- confirming working arrangements with clients and work crews
- managing works on site and liaising with clients and work crews
- on site measurement and valuation
- confirming completion of works
- applications for payments
- signing off completed works
The ideal candidate will have 5 years commercial experience working on refurbishment and fit-out projects and be able to demonstrate a god track record of overseeing and delivering profitable projects.
