Description
Project Manager - Construction

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading construction business delivering high-quality projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, working within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

About the role
As Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor, providing key input to support accurate reporting of project financial performance and forecasts.

You will play a leading role in developing the project programme and ensuring effective planning and delivery across all phases of construction.

Key responsibilities include:
• Working closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to support financial reporting and forecasting
• Developing and managing the project's master programme of works
• Ensuring no works commence on site until all H&S requirements and Construction Phase Plans are in place
• Preparing Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and supporting the Safety Plan
• Ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations as Principal Contractor
• Providing leadership, direction, and support to site teams and employees
• Managing labour resources and maintaining high levels of productivity
• Coordinating the timely release of design information and materials
• Ensuring compliance with company Quality Procedures and Standards
• Managing subcontractors and the wider supply chain effectively
• Overseeing quality control to ensure a defect-free handover


What we need from you

You will ideally be qualified to degree level in Construction or Civil Engineering, or have a strong trade background with substantial construction management experience.

You will have proven leadership and management experience within the construction or housebuilding sector, with the ability to successfully deliver projects from inception to completion.

A strong commitment to Health & Safety, quality, and best practice is essential.
