- Description
- We are working on behalf of a bespoke construction business in Bathgate to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and supporting the growth of a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Oversee day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable
Prepare monthly management accounts and present key financial insights to senior management
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
Implement and manage financial controls and reporting systems
Collaborate with other departments to support the company's commercial objectives
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is highly desirable
