- My client is currently seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join their team and oversee the successful execution of their projects. My client is ideally looking for a candidate who has worked in MOD settings and Distilleries.
About the Role:
As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of skilled workers and coordinate with subcontractors, to deliver exceptional construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Manage and direct the construction team, including subcontractors and site workers, to achieve project goals.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Monitor and control project budgets, materials, and equipment to optimise resource utilisation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and identify any potential issues or delays.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, documentation, and updates to senior management.
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during construction.
- Adhere to security procedures on sensitive sites such military barracks.
Qualifications:- Experience in construction site management or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Valid CSCS card - Management
- SMSTS
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
