Description
Our client is a leading residential developer renowned for creating exceptional living spaces in the North East of England. They are now seeking a talented Engineering Manager to contribute to their continued success and growth.


Role Overview: As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating engineering activities across their residential projects. You will lead a team of skilled engineers and collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful delivery of their developments, from initial design through to completion.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions meet project requirements and standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, codes, and health and safety standards.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to engineering plans.
Identify and resolve engineering issues and challenges that arise during the construction process.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is highly desirable.
Proven experience in a similar role within the residential development sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of relevant building regulations and construction standards.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
