Position: Civils/Groundworks Manager
Location: Glasgow
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Role Overview:
They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Civils/Groundworks Manager to oversee and manage their groundworks and civil engineering projects in the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise all civil engineering and groundworks activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
• Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and other project documentation.
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Civils/Groundworks Manager, preferably within a multi-sector main contractor environment.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and groundworks processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
