Position Overview:
They are currently seeking a Loss Adjustor with expertise in the construction industry to play a crucial role in our risk management and claims resolution processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and investigating losses, ensuring timely and fair settlements, and maintaining positive relationships with clients, contractors, and insurers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Investigate and assess construction-related losses, damages, and insurance claims.
2. Conduct on-site inspections to gather relevant information and evidence.
3. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external parties to gather necessary data for accurate loss assessments.
4. Analyse policy coverage and determine liability and indemnity aspects.
5. Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for claims resolution.
6. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance the company's risk management strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Risk Management, Construction Management, Insurance, etc.).
2. Proven experience as a Loss Adjustor, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practices.
4. Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
5. Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
6. Familiarity with insurance policies and claim settlement processes.
7. Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
