- My client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Document Controller to join their team at a remote location in Aberdeenshire. Accommodation and subsistence will be provided if required.
As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and organisation of the company's documents and information. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of document control experience, possess excellent attention to detail, and be proficient in using document management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Document Management:- Maintain and organise company documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
- Implement and enforce document control procedures to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
- Enter, update, and retrieve information in the document management system.
- Respond promptly to requests for document retrieval, ensuring timely access to critical information.
- Conduct regular audits to verify document accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to address discrepancies and improve overall document quality.
- Work closely with project teams to facilitate effective document control processes.
- Provide training and support to team members on document control procedures and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to understand document control needs and requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for document-related inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of document management systems and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to document control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
