Our Client is a dedicated organization committed to enhancing the quality of social housing in Edinburgh. As part of their mission, they are seeking a diligent and experienced Contracts Manager to lead their contract repairs division, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the contract repairs division, ensuring effective planning and execution of repair projects within social housing properties.
• Collaborate closely with contractors and maintenance teams to guarantee timely and high-quality repairs, adhering to regulatory standards and budgetary constraints.
• Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to identify repair needs, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize repair processes, enhancing efficiency while maintaining service excellence.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
• Proven track record in contract management within the social housing or property maintenance sector.
• Strong knowledge of social housing repair regulations and standards.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
