- Description
- We are currently looking for an experienced wood machinist on a permanent basis for a bespoke joinery manufacturer in Edinburgh.
The company
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled tradesmen and further your experience with a well established company who can offer progression and long term work.
They work on a variety of bespoke joinery products. machines they use include, tenoners, spindle moulder, 5 cutter, drum sanders, bean saw and planers
There is an opportunity to manage and run the machine shop if you have the desire but it is not essential for the role.
Hours are 37.5 with opportunity for overtime if wanted by the machinist.
Must Have
·Machining experience
·Experienced in all aspects of manufacturing of bespoke joinery.
·Time served or SVQ in Woodwork Machine Operating.
·Experience in reading drawings, templates and written instructions.
·Excellent attention to detail.
·Ability to meet deadlines.
