As they continue to grow, they are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Residential Lettings to lead their team and drive our success.
As the Head of Residential Lettings, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their residential letting operations in Edinburgh. You will play a key role in shaping and executing their letting strategy, delivering high-quality service to both landlords and tenants. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with extensive experience in residential lettings and a passion for exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of lettings professionals.
• Develop and implement the letting strategy for the company.
• Attract, retain, and build strong relationships with landlords and property owners.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee marketing and advertising initiatives to attract tenants.
• Negotiate and finalize letting agreements and rental terms.
• Monitor rental property performance and recommend improvements.
• Handle escalated client concerns and resolve disputes in a professional manner.
• Stay updated on the local property market and industry trends.
• Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in residential lettings management, including leadership roles.
• In-depth knowledge of the Edinburgh rental market and related regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for property management.
• A valid driver's license and access to transportation for property viewings.
• Relevant industry (MARLA) qualifications.
