As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Position Overview:
They are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor who will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing their human resources functions within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to their leadership team, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice and support on all HR-related matters to managers and employees.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Oversee performance management processes and talent development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Participate in employee engagement and retention activities.
• Conduct regular training and development programs for staff.
• Manage HR documentation, including contracts, policies, and procedures.
• Provide guidance on compensation and benefits packages.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Level 5 CIPD Qualification, or equivalent.
• Drivers license and access to own car.
• Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
• Confidence, enthusiasm and a positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively.
• Detail-oriented approach, demonstrating accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple/conflicting prioritises effectively to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
