As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager to join their team in the Central Belt of Scotland.
Job Summary: As an Asbestos Removal Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of asbestos removal projects in the Central Belt region of Scotland. You will work closely with their clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple asbestos removal projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project scopes, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Conduct site assessments, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Procure materials, equipment, and services required for successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress, resolve any issues or conflicts, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and health and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including site supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Prepare accurate project reports, including financial summaries, progress updates, and completion documentation.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in asbestos removal and remediation, with a strong background in project management.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices related to asbestos removal in Scotland.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members at all levels.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in asbestos removal and project management are highly desirable.
