Are you a skilled and experienced demolition professional looking for an exciting leadership opportunity? I am seeking a reliable and motivated Demolition Ganger to join my Client's team. As a Demolition Ganger, you will lead a crew of demolition workers, overseeing and coordinating all aspects of demolition projects. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of demolition operations. Responsibilities:
·Lead and supervise a crew of demolition workers, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout demolition projects.
·Plan and organize the daily tasks and activities of the crew to ensure efficient project execution.
·Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
·Assign responsibilities to crew members based on their skills and experience, ensuring the workload is distributed effectively.
·Train and mentor crew members on demolition techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
·Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the crew.
·Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality to ensure project milestones are met.
·Troubleshoot issues, resolve conflicts, and provide solutions to overcome challenges that may arise during demolition operations.
·Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards, implement corrective measures, and maintain a safe work environment.
·Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the job site.
·Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work completed, equipment usage, and safety documentation.
·Communicate effectively with team members, project stakeholders, and clients to provide project updates and address concerns.
·Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and regulations related to demolition work.
Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Demolition Ganger or similar leadership role in the demolition industry.
·Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
·Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
·Sound understanding of construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
·Proficiency in operating demolition equipment and tools.
·Ability to make quick decisions, solve problems, and adapt to changing project requirements.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
·Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments.
·Relevant certifications or licenses in demolition or related fields are preferred CCDO is essential.
