We are working with a well-established joinery company based in Falkirk currently seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in their operations, ensuring the financial success of projects and maintaining cost efficiency.
Job Responsibilities: As a Quantity Surveyor, your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Conducting accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and pricing
· Preparing and submitting detailed cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
· Evaluating subcontractor quotations and negotiating favourable terms and conditions.
· Monitoring project costs, identifying and analysing variations, and preparing cost reports.
· Collaborating with project managers, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure cost effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.
· Assisting in the preparation of final accounts and resolving any contractual disputes.
· Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide accurate cost advice.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
· Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the joinery or construction industry.
· Qualification in Quantity Surveying or relevant experience.
· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
· Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
