Our client a leading property management company based in Edinburgh, is seeking a Senior Lettings Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of lettings professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of team targets and objectives.
• Oversee the entire lettings process, from property marketing and viewing to tenant screening and contract negotiations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property owners, and tenants to maximize business opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and legislation affecting the lettings industry to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of team members, identify training needs, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
• Implement strategies to attract new landlords and expand the company's portfolio of properties.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as property management and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
• Monitor and analyse market conditions and competitors to identify growth opportunities and improve the company's service offering.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the property lettings industry, with a proven track record of success in a managerial role.
• Thorough knowledge of the UK property market, lettings legislation, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, landlords, and tenants.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and implement innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in using property management software and other relevant tools.
• ARLA Propertymark qualification (preferred but not essential).
