- We are delighted to be working with a leading construction company based in Edinburgh, who are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Responsibilities: As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will provide support to our experienced Quantity Surveyors and work closely with other departments within the company. Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Assisting in the preparation and submission of accurate cost estimates, tenders, and bids.
· Assisting with the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project timelines.
· Contributing to the preparation of contract documentation, including contract terms, conditions, and pricing schedules.
· Assisting in the measurement and valuation of quantities, variations, and final accounts.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
· Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or experience
· Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
· Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Proficient in using computerized quantity surveying software.
· Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control.
