Do you have experience in managing multiple residential sites and a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our clients team as a Multi-Site/Contracts Manager for a growing SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) Home Builder based in Glasgow.
Our client is a well-established and reputable SIPs Home Builder specializing in bespoke eco-friendly and energy-efficient residential projects. With a commitment to sustainable construction practices, they strive to deliver innovative and modern homes that are both comfortable and environmentally conscious.
Our client's projects range from single-family homes to multi-unit developments, all designed to meet the highest standards of quality and energy efficiency.
Role Overview: As a Multi-Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the construction activities across multiple sites throughout Scotland. Your primary objective will be to ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within the allocated budget.
You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to drive operational efficiency and maintain exceptional quality standards throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and coordinate multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and timelines.
· Provide leadership and direction to site supervisors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient execution.
· Monitor construction progress, identify and address any issues or obstacles promptly to prevent delays or cost overruns.
· Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality, safety, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
· Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction-related challenges.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
· Implement and enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on all construction sites.
· Prepare regular progress reports, project updates, and financial forecasts for management review.
· Conduct performance evaluations of site supervisors and construction teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager, or similar role, overseeing multiple residential construction projects simultaneously.
· Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
· Experience in managing SIPs construction projects is highly desirable.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions under pressure.
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
· Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.
