- Description
- We are currently working with a market leading Health & Safety consultancy who due to planned growth are looking for an experienced H&S advisor to join them in Edinburgh.
This company are well established, have a large number of repeat clients and are offering the opportunity to gain further your career and expand your knowledge and exposure within H&S.
The main aspects of this role will be carrying out health and safety audits and inspections within construction and facilities management.
Responsibilities will include
· Conducting Health and safety reports
· Ensuring the client is adhering to the standards set out within the construction phase plan.
· Carrying out safety audits and inspections on live sites
· Reviewing policies and procedures for effectiveness
· Building inspections
· Providing advice on health and safety matters
Requirements
· Health and safety experience within the construction industry.
·NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent NVQ.
· CSCS Card
· Fully aware of regulatory, legislative and Company requirements.
Desirable
· COMAH level 6
· Fire inspector
· Equipment inspection
· Audit/Inspection
· CDM
