- Description
- We are currently working on an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety advisor for a well established main contractor in Edinburgh.
This company is very well established, have a steady workflow due to the quality of work they produce and work on a diverse range of projects.
As part of the role the company have said they will put the successful candidate through training, provide on the job coaching and make an allowance for study days.
You will be put through your NEBOSH Construction Certificate and they have a clear path for you to become a chartered member of IOSH.
Duties will include
· Provide advice, support and guidance on HSQE Matters
· Support and assist staff to create Risk Assessment, COSHH Assessments & Method Statements.
· Monitor Site performance through regular inspections
· Maintain the Management system
· Provide, develop and support training schemes
· Engage with the considerate constructor scheme and assist site in achieving compliance.
The candidate
They are looking for a keen and mature individual; you will have some experience within H&S this may have been by completing H&S courses, working as a safety representative or you may have held responsibility of completing risk assessments.
