- Description
- We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager/ Project Engineer for a growing construction company in Scotland who specialise in the construction of high tech R.C frame buildings.
The projects they work on are design and build of Aquaculture Systems, consisting of heavy steel and reinforced concrete frames.
These are Scotland wide and the successful candidate would have to be willing to work away from home.
This position would be to be second in command to the Project Manager and duties would include
:
· Assisting with the co-ordination of projects
· Setting out and taking the Project Engineer Role on projects
· Monitoring Progress
· Technical Coordination of projects
· Tendering and procurement of materials and sub contractors
· Problem solving and overcoming the day-to-day issues
This is an extremely hands on role aligning with current company culture, role requirements:
· Bachelors Degree required
· Minimum of five years industry experience
· Demonstrated problem-solving skills
· Strong communication skills and client facing
· Robust skills in Microsoft Office software
· The ability to take ownership of project objectives and designated constraints
