- Our client a medium sized regional residential developer based in West Lothian are looking to add an Architectural Technician/Pre Production Co-ordinator to their team due to planned growth within the business.
The company
You would be joining an award winning residential developer who have been established for over 30 years.
They have built up a reputation for producing a high quality of build and have a track record for success.
Projects they work on include new build Housing/Flatted developments.
Overview of Role
Main duties will be to work alongside the technical department to bring early design and approvals through the relevant planning and Building warrants
Duties will include
• Managing members of the project team including chairing design team meetings with external consultant
• Deliver the projects inline with the project program
• Ensuring that the approvals, planning, building warrant, RCC meet the current project plan
• Responding to site enquiries and resolve technical and/or construction issues through the technical department
• Preparing drawings and details as required as part of the building warrant or construction stage
• Manage, control and implement standard designs within their house type range
The person
• Highly proficient in Autocad and have a high level of IT literacy
• Demonstrable experience within new build housing and/or flatted developments
• Good understanding of construction detailing
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Scottish building regulations and NHBC regulations
• Have the ability to work efficiently and accurately
