- Description
- Our client a central Edinburgh based Residential Developer are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team due to a coming retirement within the business.
The company
This company have been established for over 10 years, in this time they have built up a reputation for producing a high quality of work and as they are growing it's a fantastic time to get involved.
You would be joining an experienced team that promote a very strong work/life balance ethos and will receive a high degree of autonomy in the position
Projects they work on are primarily high end refurbishments and extensions (periodic conversions, luxury builds)
Overview of Role
Main Duties will be overseeing projects from a commercial stand point with values £1m+ and overall ensuring financial success of these projects.
Duties will include
·Cost planning and Estimates
·Take off quantities & Measurements
·Prepare and issue subcontractor enquiries
·Costing Variations & Cash flow forecasts
·Procurement
·Site visits as required
Must have
·Demonstrable experience in Q.S/Estimation
·Ideally from a Residential background, but all areas of construction will be considered
·Highly organised and have excellent attention to detail
·Competent with Microsoft packages
