- Description
- We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for an industry leader within the energy services industry in Ealing London.
This is a fantastic time to be joining this organisation as they are growing, promote from within and have an extremely strong order book.
Overview of the Role
The role will be based in Ealing and the successful candidate will be in control of the financial aspects of the companies Green Home contracts.
Duties will include
• Produce an accurate cash flow forecast based on the project programme
• Produce a detailed cost plan / buying schedule for each project. L
• Prepare a detailed preliminaries expenditure schedule for discussion and agreement.
• Identify the most appropriate work packages and sub-contractors
• Produce and issue valuations in accordance with the contract documents
• Report to the Area Manager and Operations Manager on financial and operational issues
Identify and properly value all variations to the contract, and seek to pre-cost
Qualifications
Essential:
• Minimum HNC in a construction related discipline
• QS degree.
• Ideally membership of RICS and/or CIOB
Skills and Knowledge:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Thinking clearly and analytically.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a main contractor Quantity Surveyor running the financial aspect of social housing construction projects.
• Experience of frameworks and social housing projects.
